Full Ingredient Active ingredient?: 5g of refined fish oil (rich in omega-3 fatty acids) in 50ml
Inactive ingredients: Glycerol, water for injection, sodium hydroxide, refined egg phospholipids, sodium oleate
Efficacy/Effect Supplementation of omega-3 fatty acids, particularly DHA and EPA for patients undergoing jugular vein nutrition (when oral or gastrointestinal nutrition is not possible, insufficient, or limited)
Usage/Dosage Daily Dosage:
Omegaven 1ml up to 2ml/kg body weight
= Refined fish oil 0.1g up to 0.2g/kg body weight
= For patients weighing 70kg, administer 70 to 140ml of Omegaven
Omegaven should be administered with other fat emulsions. In this case, the proportion of Omegaven should be 10% to 20% of total fat intake, while fat dosage should not exceed 2g/kg body weight/day.

Maximum dosing rate:
Omegaven 0.5mL/kg body weight/hour = Refined fish oil 0.05g/kg body weight/hour
Do not exceed the maximum dosing rate. Exceeding the maximum dosing rate may result in a sharp increase in serum triglyceride levels.

Route of administration:
Intravenous drip into a central or peripheral vein.
Shake well before use. Ensure compatibility before administering together with other injection solutions (e.g. amino acid solution, carbohydrate solution) in the same line (by-pass, Y-stick).

Duration of administration:
Do not administer for more than 4 weeks.
Storage Store at 25℃ or below, but do not freeze
