In acute cases or where oral administration is difficult 1. Prevention and treatment of vitamin C deficiency: scurvy, etc. 2. When the requirement for vitamin C increases: pregnancy or lactation, during heavy physical exertion, etc. 3. When any of the following diseases/conditions? are presumed to be involved in vitamin C deficiency or metabolic disorders: 1) Capillary bleeding (nasal bleeding, gingival bleeding, hematuria, etc.) 2) Drug administration (salicylate, atropine, ammonium chloride, barbiturate, etc.) 3) Bone matrix formation during fracture, osseous disorder 4) Melasma, freckles, pigmentation after inflammation 5) Photosensitive dermatitis, etc. |
Usage/Dosage | Subcutaneous, intramuscular, or intravenous injection of 50 to 1,000mg ascorbic acid per day (inject at once or divide into several injections). Increase or decrease according to age and symptoms. |
