Efficacy/Effect When rapid intravenous administration is necessary due to pain or high fever, or when the administration cannot be carried out by other routes
1. Short-term treatment of moderate pain (especially after surgery)
2. Short-term treatment of fever
Usage/Dosage Intravenous administration is limited to adults and children weighing over 33kg (approximately 11 years of age).
- Adults weighing at least 50kg: 4 times a day, 1000mg of acetaminophen each time, at an interval of at least 4 hours. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 4grams.
- Children over 33kg (about 11 years old) and adults weighing less than 50kg: 15mg of acetaminophen (1.5ml/kg of this drug) per kg of body weight is administered each time, at an interval of at least 4 hours. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 60 mg/kg, or 4 grams.
- For patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance ≤ 30ml/min), the recommended interval between administrations is at least 6 hours.
- Administration method: Intravenous infusion over a 15-minute period.
