1. Prevention and treatment of vitamin B1 deficiency 2. Administer when demand for vitamin B1 increases and intake from diet is insufficient (wasting disease, hyperthyroidism, pregnancy, lactation, intense physical labor, etc.) 3. Wernicke encephalopathy 4. Cardiac beriberi 5. Vitamin B1 deficiency or metabolic disorder due to the following diseases/conditions? 1) Neuralgia 2) Muscle pain, joint pain 3) Peripheral neuritis, peripheral nerve paralysis 4) Myocardial metabolic disorders 5) Constipation and other gastrointestinal motility disorders 6) Post-operative intestinal paralysis Do not use for about a month if the administration does not resolve vitamin B1 deficiency or metabolic disorder. |
Usage/Dosage |
Intramuscular or intravenous injection of 5-100 mg fursultiamine per day for adults. Increase or decrease according to symptoms. |
