| Usage/Dosage |
Adults: Intravenous injection 1-5g (12-60mEq) of sodium bicarbonate at a time The normal dose for acidosis is generally calculated according to the following formula and administered intravenously. Required amount (mEq) = Base Deficit (mEq/L) × 0.2 × body weight (kg) Increase or decrease according to age and symptoms. |
